Fairhairfactory operates this online store and related customer account services. This policy explains what information we process when you browse the store, create an account, request a quotation, place an order, or contact us.

Information we collect

  • Account and contact information: name, email address, telephone number, company details, account identifiers, and your privacy consent record.
  • Sign-in information: email verification status; a verified mobile number when phone sign-in is used; or the basic profile, email address, and provider identifier returned by Google or Facebook when you choose social sign-in.
  • Order information: products, custom specifications, quotations, billing and delivery details, order communications, shipping records, returns, and support history.
  • Technical and security information: IP address, browser and device information, cookies, session identifiers, fraud-prevention signals, rate-limit counters, and security logs. Phone and IP identifiers in phone-verification audit logs are hashed.

How we use information

We use information to create and secure customer accounts, display customer pricing, answer enquiries, prepare quotations, manufacture and fulfil customised products, process payments, deliver orders, provide support, prevent abuse, maintain records, and comply with applicable obligations.

Service providers

We use service providers only as needed to operate the store. These may include WooCommerce and our hosting providers; Google and Meta for optional social sign-in; Twilio Verify for optional one-time phone verification; payment providers such as Stripe and PayPal; email, analytics, anti-spam, security, and delivery providers. Payment card details are processed by the selected payment provider and are not stored as complete card numbers by this website.

Cookies

Essential cookies keep you signed in, protect forms, remember your cart and currency, and secure checkout. Optional services may set additional cookies where enabled. You can control cookies in your browser, but blocking essential cookies may prevent account, cart, or checkout functions from working.

Retention and deletion

Verification challenges expire after 10 minutes and phone-verification rate-limit counters expire within one hour. Other account, order, tax, payment, shipping, fraud-prevention, and support records are retained only for operational, contractual, security, and legal needs. When deletion is requested, we delete or anonymise eligible account data, while retaining records that must be kept for legitimate security, transaction, dispute, accounting, or legal purposes.

Your choices and requests

You may request access, correction, export, restriction, or deletion of eligible personal information, and you may disconnect optional social sign-in providers. To make a request, email service@fairhairfactory.com. We may ask you to verify control of the account, email address, or telephone number before acting on a request.

Basic website statistics

We count page views on our own server to understand how our website is used. Counts are grouped by date, page, broad referral source, and whether visitors are signed in. This statistics feature does not use tracking cookies, browser fingerprints, customer identifiers, or individual browsing histories, and does not send data to Google Analytics. Aggregate counts are retained for about 90 days. This describes our statistics feature; account, checkout and other necessary website functions are separate.
